The Metal Madman: New comic is out!!

comic008
Ozzy Osbourne has lived one of the more colorful lives in the history of music, and every time you think you’ve heard it all, another Ozzy story surfaces. So it makes sense that Bluewater Productions, the company behind several animated biographies, has chosen Osbourne as the subject of their next graphic novel.

Ozzy Osbourne: The Metal Madman is being released this week in both print and digital editions. Ozzy Osbourne: The Metal Madman was penned by Michael L. Frizell and Jayfri Hashim with art by Hamim. It also features a cover created by famous horror artist Stefano Cardoselli.

“Ozzy’s legacy is well known,” says Frizell. “A lot of research went into creating the script. One misstep and the fans will know! Jayfri and I wanted to respect that legend — and the fans — by giving them something both familiar and unexpected. Writing about real people is often difficult, and when it’s someone like Ozzy who’s made himself tough to define and is a mainstay in the tabloids, we are challenged to find new ways to tell that well-known story.”

BLACK SABBATH: OZZFEST 2001 Tour Rider

The Black Sabbath contract rider includes specifications on stage design, sound systems, lighting rigs, as well as an artist’s wish list — from transportation and billing to dressing room accommodations and meals.

“For BLACK SABBATH’s 2001 Ozzfest shows, Jack and Kelly Osbourne’s creamy butternut squash soup and strawberry Haagen-Dazs were kept a room apart from dad’s water biscuits, tea bags, and New York-style bagels”; The extra dressing area is likely the only way the Prince of Darkness could get refuge from his yapping siblings and dogs.

A little while back, I got hold of a pristine copy of the 1999 Black Sabbath tour book. It was on sale at a venue during the January – February tour or during the summer tour (May to July). It has 32 pages and is similar to the 2000 tour book with the difference of added pictures and adverts. It is a Great piece of memorabillia.I just finished scanning, editing it and it is now available online as a flipbook.
